The Los Angeles Chargers and the Kansas City Chiefs were locked in a hell-fight on Thursday night which Justin Herbert landing on the wrong end of play. Not only did the Chargers come second best in the game, but even marquee Herbert suffered from a rib injury, during the latter stages of the second half.
Having not practiced on Friday, Justin Herbert has been listed questionable by the team ahead of their Week 3 showdown against the Jacksonville Jaguar. The Chargers revealed that their current plan is for the gunslinging Quarterback to see how his ribs are feeling in the pre-game warmups and probably take a wise decision from there.
Justin Herbert could be evidently seen struggling, holding his ribs in the fourth quarter after the fatal bump. While the Chargers have been impressive in showcasing their work rate in the 2022-23 NFL Season so far yet they would not be rushing into taking a decision to place Justin Herbert on the field before time.
Herbert made some huge plays for the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 2, but if he is likely to sit out – Chase Daniel shall be replacing him as the starting QB on Sunday. Alongside Herbert – the likes of Keenan Allen, Donald Parham and Trey Pipkins are also listed questionable.
On the other hand, the Jacksonville Jaguars have added cornerback Shaquill Griffin to their injury report with a hip issue, calling him questionable to play on Sunday. With both teams missing some of their key figures, who could’ve changed the course of the game for them, it will be interesting to witness which team comes out on top.
