Will Myles Garrett play in Week 4 against the Atlanta Falcons?

Published by

After suffering from a highly dangerous car crash in the past week, Cleveland Browns will be shorthanded as they star edge rusher – Myles Garrett will not be participating against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. With their fast, agile and swift scorer out, the team has gone onto sign tight end Miller Forristall to their active roster.

Having to avoid hitting an animal on a wet road, Myles Garrett met with an unfortunate accident wherein his car flipped multiple times, after which he was taken to a hospital along with a female passenger travelling with him. Eventually Garrett sustained minor injuries and was discharged from the hospital after several hours on the same day.

However, Garrett’s absence looks to be short-term issue for the Cleveland Browns. NFL Insider – Jonathan Jones revealed that he is expected to participate in the team’s practice after Week 4 showdown against the Falcons and is likely to start against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 5, if things go as per the team’s plan.

Even though Myles Garrett did not practice all week, Browns were still hopeful that they could witness their star edge rusher take on the field, especially when the team hasn’t been in their best form without him. The 26-year-old suffered via a shoulder sprain, biceps strain, lacerations and a popped blood vessel in the corner of his left eye.

To make matters worse Myles Garrett isn’t the only marquee star to be absent for the Browns – even Jadeveon Clowney has been told to be listed questionable. There are less hopes from Clowney to be able to play as he has registered three consecutive DNPs in practice sessions this week.
