Russell Wilson, the $240 Million signing for Denver Broncos hasn’t been at his best ever since the start of 2022-23 season. Managing to only ensure 2 wins out for the initial 6 games so far, it comes to known that the 33-year-old Quarterback will not be able to represent his new team in Week 7.
Why will that be the case? Denver Broncos revealed that Russell Wilson will not be playing on Sunday after being limited the entire week with a hamstring injury. Although Wilson has able to finish the most recent game against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 6, he hasn’t fully recovered.
So, who would be starting in place of Russell Wilson in Week 7 against the Chargers? Brett Rypien would taking the honours from the veteran QB in a bid to make this team register another win as we head towards the mid 2022-23 season.
One does how Rypien would be able to replace Russell Wilson in an offensive unit which is stringed around him? Broncos’ Head Coach Nathaniel Hackett made everyone aware on Friday that both Brett and Russell Wilson received reps with the starters as well as Offensive Coordinator just so that the team had a game plan prepared for if Rypien got the start.
With Russell Wilson struggling big time to deliver in Denver – this could be a huge chance for Brett Rypien to make a name for himself in the 2022-23 season. The Denver Broncos as it is, need to throw the kitchen sink to be able to fight for a place in the playoffs. Will we witness their comeback? For now, let’s focus upon the Week 7 footballing festivity.
