Deshaun Watson will be missing the first eleven games of the upcoming season to serve the suspension that is handed to him by the league.
The announcement about the impending suspension of Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson was made. He will be suspended for the first 11 games of the upcoming season, because of all the grievances that were filed against him.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN: Breaking: NFL and NFLPA reached agreement on an 11-game suspension for Browns QB Deshaun Watson, per sources. The settlement also includes a fine of $5 million that will go to charity. Deal still is not signed but it is agreed to.
It was expected that the new Cleveland Browns quarterback might receive a suspension for the whole season, but now it has been cleared that he will receive a suspension of only 11 games.
Earlier he was supposed to be suspended for six games only, but now the ruling by the league has extended his suspension. Watson is content with the decision and will serve the decision handed to him. He will make his return in week 13 in the game against his former team the Houston Texans.
