Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe once wanted famous artist Kanye West to become the owner of this NFL franchise.
Shannon Sharpe, an NFL Hall of Fame tight end, played for the Denver Broncos from 1990 to 1999. He won two Super Bowls with the Broncos in 1998 and 1999, and he has always been associated with the team.
There had been a lot of interest in owning the Denver Broncos from all over the country, and a number of famous people had shown interest in doing so. Kanye West, a pop star and successful businessman, was one of them.
Shannon Sharpe once expressed his desire for Kanye West to purchase the Denver Broncos. He wanted to see the pop star owning his former franchise, as it would have been good for the league.
Talking about it, Shannon said, “I’ll be happy and I’m all for it. At the end, it will come to the highest bidder and the Biggest bidder is going to win.”
He added, “I want Kanye to be one of the owners of a team in the NFL and hopefully he can get some investors to get the job done.” Shannon said, “If he got Dollars, it makes sense.” Unfortunately, the deal didn’t go through, and Shannon Sharpe’s wish couldn’t get completed.
