Tom Brady, the quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be an NFL Analyst on Fox Sports following his retirement.
Fox Sports have announced that Tom Brady, the quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be joining the organization following the end of his playing career. Brady will be a Senior NFL Analyst, and Brand Ambassador of Fox Sports.
Brady signed a 10-year deal worth $375 million, which made it the biggest deal in American Sports Broadcasting Industry. This deal will be worth more than what Tom Brady has earned throughout his NFL career.
However, there is no certainty about when Brady will retire. He came back from his short retirement just months ago and claimed that he wants to win more. There is a strong possibility that Brady would continue to play after this season as well.
FOX CEO Lachlan Murdoch talked about Brady’s deal, and said, “We are delighted that Tom has committed to joining the FOX team and wish him all the best during this upcoming season,”
The Bucs quarterback announced his deal on Twitter but said, “Excited, but a lot of unfinished business on the field with the Buccaneers,“, as he is completely locked in to win more with the Buccaneers.
He came back from his retirement to win more, and right now his aim is to add the 8th Super Bowl to his resume. Brady won a Super Bowl in his first season with the Bucs, and he would love to replicate that in the upcoming season as well.
When it comes to Tom Brady, expect the unexpected. No one thought that he would retire following their loss to the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Divisional Round Game, but he did.
Furthermore, when everyone thought that finally Brady was done with football, he announced his return to the NFL and shocked the world once again.
He proved everyone wrong when he won the Super Bowl in his first year in Tampa, where they went on to defeat the Kansas City Chiefs despite being the underdogs. Last season also he almost pulled back the game against the Rams, but Cooper Kupp and Matthew Stafford had other ideas.
There is no denying the fact that Brady and the Bucs are legit Super Bowl contenders in the upcoming season. Moreover, they would look to make further additions to their squad, which can make them a clear-cut favorite to come out of the NFC, and contend for the Super Bowl.
The Bucs want to bring back Rob Gronkowski to pair up with Tom Brady. However, he hasn’t made it clear about his return to the NFL yet, and everyone will keep an eye on that situation.
The NFC isn’t as strong in the upcoming season as compared the previous years. As a result, Brady’s task of making it to the Super Bowl will be much less difficult.
However, you can never count out Aaron Rodgers, and the Green Bay Packers. He is bound to be up there during the playoffs. There is a high possibility that we might see another Brady vs Rodgers matchup in the NFC playoffs.
Apart from Green Bay, the LA Rams will be the toughest opposition for the Bucs in the NFC. The defending champs will be locked in to win another Super Bowl. Moreover, their roster is quite better as compared to what Brady has in Tampa Bay.
However, you can never count out the ‘GOAT’, in playoffs. As a result, the other teams would want to avoid facing Brady and the Bucs. Despite that Brady and the Bucs won’t find it easy to win the Super Bowl.
The main competition comes from the AFC. The likes of the Bills, Chiefs, and the Bengals will be among the mix to contend for the Super Bowl. The upcoming season of the NFL promises to be a great one, and the fans are eagerly waiting for it to start.
