Stephen A Smith defended Patrick Mahomes in front of Christopher Russo and reminded of who the Chiefs quarterback actually is.
The Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes will go into the next season with a lot to prove. They just lost their star wide receiver, Tyreek Hill, and because of that, a lot of people are giving up on them.
But the Chiefs have brought in some important new players who could make them a contender again. Christopher Russo talked about Mahomes not too long ago. He told people about how badly Mahomes played in the AFC Championship Game for the Chiefs against the Bengals. Russo thinks that Mahomes won’t be able to silence his critics until he does well in the playoffs.
However, Stephen A Smith came into the defense of the Chiefs starlet. He reminded Russo of who Patrick Mahomes actually is. Stephen A basically wanted to tell the world that you can never count out Mahomes no matter what.
Talking about Mahomes, Stephen A Smith said, “Patrick Mahomes… Stay With Me. He Comes Into the League. He Plays Lights Out His First Season. Throws 50 Touchdowns. Catches League M.V.P. Honors. Takes the Team to the A.F.C. Championship Game.”
He added, “Loses to Green Bay Because They Ran Out of Time, Ok. We Know They Came Back in the Second Half. The Patriots. Sorry. Come Back the Next Year. He Wins the Whole Damn Thing.”
