Colin Cowherd had his say on Baker Mayfield becoming the starting quarterback of the Carolina Panthers.
Baker Mayfield was traded to the Carolina Panthers a few weeks ago from the Cleveland Browns. He was fighting for the starting quarterback role with Sam Darnold.
However, now it has been confirmed that Mayfield will be the starting QB of the Panthers in week 1. Baker Mayfield will be lining up to face his former team; the Cleveland Browns in week 1.
Colin Cowherd believes that Baker Mayfield now finds himself in a tough situation by being the starting quarterback of the Carolina Panthers mainly because of their poor roster.
He said, “Baker Mayfield Got um the Worst Good News of His Career. He’s Starting for Carolina. He’s Going to Start Week One for Carolina, So They Want to Get Him Reps and Get Him Playing.“
Colin Cowherd added, “The Downside Is They Don’t Get a Break Here. The First Seven Games the Carolina Panthers Play the Carolina Panthers O-Line Is Bad Even With Upgrades Pro Football Focus Ranks at 24th.”
