Derrick Henry continued his impressive run of form against the Houston Texans and Shannon Sharpe couldn’t believe it.
Derrick Henry is arguably the best running back in the NFL when healthy and he proved it last night against the Houston Texans. In a game where rookie quarterback Malik Willis made his first start in the NFL, the Tennessee Titans won the game by 17-10.
Henry had 32 rushing attempts against the Texans for 219 yards and wreaked havoc on the Texans’ defense. He also had two rushing touchdowns and continued his impressive run of form against their AFC South rivals. Henry’s performance left NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe in awe.
Talking about Derrick Henry against the Texans, Shannon Sharpe said, “IF* I’m the Texans I’m filing a petition to leave AFC South until D. Henry retires. This is ridiculous. Man goes for 2 bills every time he sees them… EVERY TIME.”
So far in his career, Henry has 202 carries for 1,254 yards and has scored 11 touchdowns in 11 games against the Texans. Since 2019, Derrick Henry has scored nine touchdowns in four games against the Texans while rushing for over 800 yards. It shows the dominance of King Henry against the Houston Texans.
