“This Kansas City pass game will expose what we thought we were going to”- Brandon Aiyuk fires shots at Eagles ahead of Super Bowl clash against the Chiefs

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk fired shots at the Philadelphia Eagles ahead of the Super Bowl.

Brandon Aiyuk, a receiver with the San Francisco 49ers, still does not appear to have a high opinion of the Philadelphia Eagles, despite the fact that his team was defeated by them in the NFC Championship Game by a score of 31-7.

Aiyuk was asked who he thought would win Super Bowl LVII during a Saturday appearance on the SF Niners podcast. Not only did he pick against the Eagles, but he was also so sure about his pick that he also said that he would bet everything he owned on the Chiefs if he were allowed to bet on the game. If he were allowed to bet on the game, he would bet everything he owned on the Chiefs.

Brandon Aiyuk is so sure that Kansas City will win because he believes that the high-powered offense of the Chiefs will be able to “expose” the defense played by the Eagles. Aiyuk said, “Hypothetically speaking, if I were going to bet on this game, I’d go take everything that I own, get it in cash and put my money on the Kansas City Chiefs,”

He added, “I don’t know fully about that [Eagles] defense, They talk about them being a good defense, I’m not too sure. I think the pass game, this Kansas City pass game, will expose what we thought we were going to be able to expose before some unfortunate circumstances happened.”

Before Brock Purdy got injured just six plays into San Francisco’s first offensive drive in the NFC championship game, it appears like Aiyuk believed the 49ers were going to have their way with the Eagles defence and cruise to victory over the Eagles.

Brandon Aiyuk had a firm belief in his team’s chances against the Eagles

Brandon Aiyuk seems to have a definite belief that the 49ers were going to “expose” the Eagles despite the fact that the sample size is quite small and that Purdy had already completed both of his passes for 19 yards before the injury.

When it comes to the Super Bowl, the Eagles defense will undoubtedly face its toughest competition of the year in the form of an offense that led the National Football League in passing yards, total yards, and points scored. The Chiefs offense. The Eagles, on the other hand, will not be in the least bit fazed by the opposition, and the reason for this is that they will be entering the game with a defense that has been historically impressive this year.

In spite of the fact that Aiyuk is expecting a victory for the Chiefs, he soon changed his tune and stated that there was at least some chance that the Eagles could pull off the upset. Aiyuk said, “You got to get lucky to win the Super Bowl, and they got extremely lucky last week [in the NFC title game], so who’s to say they can’t do it twice,”  He added, “I’m sitting on the couch, I have no room to talk about anybody playing next week…”

Aiyuk also added a short disclaimer to everything he said because he seemed to be aware that Eagles fans would be displeased with his forecast. Aiyuk had a positive outlook on the 49ers’ chances of winning the championship as long as Purdy remained injury-free in the NFC championship game.

Aiyuk might want to avoid using Twitter this week because there are probably a lot of Eagles fans who would be more than happy to argue with him that the 49ers aren’t the best team in the NFL or even the NFC.
