The Las Vegas Raiders are now 2-7 and quarterback Derek Carr broke into tears in the post-match conference.
Derek Carr and the Las Vegas Raiders are off to a horrendous start as they are now 2-7 following their loss to the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts who were under new head coach Jeff Saturday showed up and dismantled the Raiders once again.
During the post-game conference, quarterback Derek Carr got emotional and broke into tears due to the poor start of the season for his team. Despite the addition of Davante Adams and new head coach Josh McDaniels, the Raiders have looked like one of the worst teams in the league.
Speaking after the loss, Derek Carr said, “Sorry for being emotional I’m just pissed off about some of the things you know that a lot of us try and do just to practice, what we put our bodies through just to sleep at night for that to be the result of all that effort this pisses me off. This is a lot of guys, it’s hard knowing what some guys are doing.”
He added, “Like I said just to practice, what they’re putting in their body just asleep at night. Like just so we can be there for each other, and I wish everybody in that room felt the same way about this place, and as a leader that pisses me off, if I’m being honest.”
It is unsure whether the Raiders will continue with Derek Carr next season as the team might now look to tank and aim for a high draft pick in order to draft a top quarterback next year.
