George Pickens had a great game in his NFL debut during the preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are in a sort of mini-rebuild. Their long-term serving quarterback Ben Roethlisberger retired last season, and this will be a transition period for the franchise.
The Steelers did well in the Draft and brought two good players in quarterback Kenny Pickett, and wide receiver George Pickens. Pickens was an underrated player, and so far has balled out in the training camp.
In his first ever game for the Steelers, in the preseason against the Seattle Seahawks, Pickens had a great game. He even recorded a touchdown and looked pretty good throughout the game.
He will be a fantastic addition to this young team and can contribute massively. Pickens can turn out to be a player like Antonio Brown, and the Steelers fans would love to see another prolific wide receiver playing for their team.
The season is just weeks away. It is being presumed that Mitchell Trubisky will be the starting quarterback of the franchise in Week 1. Pickens would love to play alongside an experienced quarterback, and hopefully, they will elevate each other’s game.
