Aaron Rodgers got time to speak with his former head coach Mike McCarthy before going against him on Sunday.
The Green Bay Packers defeated the Dallas Cowboys in Week 10 as Aaron Rodgers was once again able to get another win over the Cowboys. This time around, Rodgers also defeated his former head coach in the process.
Mike McCarthy, the current head coach of the Cowboys is the former Packers head coach as well, and after the game, Rodgers revealed that he spoke to McCarthy prior to the game as well.
Talking about it, Aaron Rodgers said, “We got to spend a lot of time actually when I got to the to the stadium very early today. That was really, really meaningful. I have so much love for him.”
Rodgers added, “He’s, you can’t write the story of my career without Mike McCarthy. I have so much gratitude for the role he played in my life. I’m so thankful to have his friendship, and to be able to be on the other side of this and to still have so much love and respect for one another.“
Aaron Rodgers will look to continue this form in the remaining games as well as the Packers wouldn’t want to miss the playoffs this season. However, the road ahead isn’t easy for them as they will face much tougher teams.
