“We need to get into the dance, That’s the next step”- Lions HC Dan Campbell is optimistic about his team going forward

Dan Campbell, the head coach of the Detroit Lions is quite optimistic about his team going forward after a stellar season.

In the final game of the regular season for this year, the Green Bay Packers were defeated by the Detroit Lions, which resulted in the end of the Packers’ playoff aspirations. The loss suffered by the Packers allowed the Seattle Seahawks to clinch the seventh and final seed in the NFC playoffs.

Despite the fact that they were unable to go to the postseason, the Lions had a fantastic season of a turnaround under the direction of Dan Campbell. They concluded the season with a record of 9-8 and have a lot of potential despite their record.

Their quarterback Jared Goff played exceptionally well throughout the season and might be the long-term solution for the franchise following the departure of Matthew Stafford. Dan Campbell has a lot of confidence in his team’s prospects moving forward and thinks that they made a significant advance toward improvement over the course of this season.

Speaking about it he said, “I don’t want to hear that anymore, Same Old Lions. ….I wanted to be a part of building a new brand. We need to get into the dance. That’s the next step. We’ve improved. And next year we’ll be better.”

The Detroit Lions need to bolster their defense in the offseason, and with a couple of draft picks, they could fix that position. It won’t be a surprise if the Lions take another big stride next season.
