All you need to know about what happened to Buffalo Bills’ young player Damar Hamlin during the game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
After collapsing during a primetime game against the Cincinnati Bengals, the young star Damar Hamlin of the Buffalo Bills is currently in severe condition in the hospital. During the first quarter of the game, he was knocked unconscious after being involved in a collision with Tee Higgins.
He was given cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and transported to a nearby hospital before the National Football League decided to halt play. The other players were seen sobbing and consoling one other while praying for Hamlin.
According to the NFL, medical assistance was provided to Hamlin as soon as he was injured on the field, and he was then transported off in an ambulance. A little over an hour after the incident occurred, the game was eventually called off for the night. In the National Football League, injuries seldom cause games to be postponed.
Both of these teams are in the running for a spot in the Super Bowl this year, and there is no info yet about when the ongoing game will continue as the major focus remains on Hamlin’s health.
Hamlin, who was born in McKees Rock, Pennsylvania, attended the University of Pittsburgh and excelled there before being drafted by the Bills in the 2021 NFL Draft. While he spent most of the previous season on the Bills’ bench serving in the role of safety, he had recently broken into the starting lineup for the Bills in 2022.
