All you need to know about when will San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy will have his surgery.

The timetable for San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy to have elbow surgery is set. According to information obtained from sources familiar with the decision, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport stated on Wednesday that Purdy would visit with Dr. Keith Meister in Dallas on February 21 and that he plans to have surgery to repair his ruptured UCL on February 22.

In the first quarter of the NFC Championship Game, which the Philadelphia Eagles won, Purdy hurt his elbow when his arm was smacked when he was trying to pass the ball. Purdy returned to the lineup after Josh Johnson’s concussion, but he was unable to pass the ball properly, which led to the blowout loss that terminated the Niners’ season.

After Purdy tore his UCL, the Niners thought that he would require a rehabilitation period of six months. After being selected with the last choice in the NFL Draft in 2022, Purdy demonstrated his ability in Kyle Shanahan’s playbook by winning his first seven starts and two postseason games before incurring the injury.
