J.J. Watt was drafted by the Houston Texans with the 11th overall pick in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft on April 28. This made him the first defensive end to be chosen in the first round of that draft.
During the course of his career, Watt has played for the Houston Texans and the Arizona Cardinals. He recently announced that he will retire from the NFL after this season and it came as a shock to many.
Watt is on his way to getting selected for the Hall of Fame as he has had a legendary career and will forever be remembered as one of the best defensive players in the history of the game. Watt was selected to play in 5 Pro Bowls throughout his career. He has won 3 Defensive Player of the Year awards and the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award.
