Finally, the Ni no Kuni Xbox Game Pass is here, and you can enjoy the Ni no Kuni games as they are going to be available on XBOX.
A number of new games have been announced to Game Pass, as well as several updates at the Xbox Showcase at Tokyo Game Show 2022. You can play Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony Anniversary Edition, Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, and Fuga: Melodies of Steel on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X right now through the subscription service.
But what is more surprising and good news is that XBOX will now finally have Ni no Kuni games. Yes, that is right. You will be able to play Ni no Kuni games soon on XBOX. To learn more about it, read below.
In recent weeks, Microsoft announced that the Ni No Kuni series would finally be available on Xbox Game Pass. Ni No Kuni, a popular JRPG title, will finally be available on the green side of the gaming pastures, and the first game is already available for download. The Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S users are now available to download and play Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered Edition.
Next year Xbox Game Pass subscribers and Xbox console owners will be able to purchase Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom. Microsoft confirmed this during its live stream at the Tokyo Game Show in 2022.
The third-person perspective of Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch allows players to progress through the story through quests and linear scenarios that have set objectives. Outside of quests, players are free to roam around the overworld. In this world, players can explore towns, villages, dungeons, and dangerous places, and they can travel between Motorville and the rest of the world.
When players leave a location, they access the World Map, which can be used to choose a destination. While the world can be explored fully without restrictions from the beginning, story progression unlocks new gameplay content and modes of transportation to explore it: players begin by running, but later gain the ability to use a boat or a dragon to navigate the world.
Oliver, a resident of Motorville, is the protagonist of Ni no Kuni. He almost drowns while trying to drive a new vehicle designed by Philip, but is saved by his mother Allie, who later dies of heart disease. The tears Oliver sheds cause the doll, a gift from his mother, to become a fairy named Drippy who tells Oliver that he comes from another world where evil wizard Shadar rules the world.
Moreover, he explains to Oliver that everyone has a soulmate, a connection they share with someone in the world that Oliver lives in and that Oliver’s mother looks a lot like Alicia, an ancient sage captured by Shadar. In order to bring Allie back to his world, Oliver sets out to rescue Alicia from the other world with Drippy, realizing Alicia must have been Allie’s soulmate.
