Learn all about the children of Novak Djokovic and wife Jelena
Novak Djokovic is the World No. 1 tennis star with a number of titles and accolades to his name but do you know that he is blessed with two lovely children. He is arguably the best tennis player in the world for a decade now.
He has won 20 Grand Slams titles which includes nine Australian Opens. Regarding his personal life, Do you know how many children he has?
Djokovic and his family live in Monte Carlo, Monaco and according to Djoker himself, he is a family man and loves to spend time with his wife and kids when not on tour. Let us tell you about the kids and wife of the Serbian star.
Novak Djokovic and his wife Jelena are blessed with two lovely kids. The elder one is a son named Stefan Djokovic and the younger one is a daughter, Tara Djokovic. We have even seen his kids present on the stands during his matches in ATP or Grand Slams.
On October 22, 2014, Novak was blessed with his first kid when Stefan was born. He made this announcement via his Twitter handle:
“Stefan, our baby angel was born! I am so proud of my beautiful wife Jelena! Thank you so much for your love and support. We love you all!!!”
Three years later, the couple’s daughter Tara Djokovic was born on September 3, 2017.
Stefan is just 7 and he has already started to follow in his father’s footsteps. He has already started his training coaching and is taken to the court by the Djoker himself.
The young boy has accompanied his dad multiple times during the game and most famously one can remember was in Wimbledon in 2018, which Djokovic won. After the match Djokovic was delighted by his son’s presence in the audience and said:
“It feels amazing because for the first time in my life I have someone screaming ‘Daddy! Daddy!’”
“And it’s the little boy right there. He came in… he’s under five years old, so he couldn’t watch the matches live, but we were hoping that if this happens, if I hold a trophy, that he can be there to witness it. I can’t be happier. I’m very emotional for him being there.”
Djokovic and Jelena welcomed a baby girl into this world on September 3, 2017 who they named Tara. Tara at 4 is definitely the cutest celebrity kid around and she loves to spend time with her dad.
One big example is a Twitter post by Tara’s mom Jelena. in 2020, Jelena posted a cute picture of Djoker when his daughter Tara decided to style him in a new fashion. The tennis star looked adorable in his new look for sure.
Novak Djokovic retweeted the picture with the hashtag “#girldad”.
Surely with two cute kids around Djokovic and Jelena would be spending some quality time together on his off days. Now let’s talk about Djokovic’s better half.
Novak Djokovic married his high school sweetheart Jelena in 2014 and since then the couple have been setting some serious couple goals. The two first met in high school and started dating in 2005.
The love birds are often seen together during the match days and without a doubt, they love to travel and explore the world. Their Instagram accounts are proof of that.
She is just not the “wife” of Djokovic – Jelena is a career-oriented woman. She is an activist, Instagram star and social activist as well. Jelena started her career in the oil industry as an HR coordinator and in 2011 she founded her own company and serves as its director to date.
