NXT’s Great American Bash Day 2 was exceptional as history was made by Keith Lee
The main event of the Great American Bash Day Two saw Keith Lee make some history.
The Limitless One was up against Adam Cole in a Champion vs Champion winner takes all clash. However, there were some other great matches too from the special WWE NXT show, and here are the hits and misses.
We all know by now that Lee defeated Cole to become a dual champion and the first to hold the NXT and North American titles at the same time.
This was something to celebrate and WWE did a decent job with the confetti and the streamers. It also showcased the long journey Lee has taken to reach the top but they also decided to push Karrion Kross as he seems to be the next in line for a title challenge.
It is one thing to progress a story but this was supposed to be Lee’s moment and taking it away for him, even for a second, wasn’t the right thing to do.
Tony Nese is called the Premier Athlete in WWE but he doesn’t seem to be getting the rub of the green in the company.
Nese should be given a proper push but the Cruiserweight star seems to be fodder for WWE. He was in action against the bigger Bronson Reed and was defeated rather easily.
WWE has wasted talent in the past and they have to do a better job in dealing with Nese. He deserves better and WWE has to do better for him.
