WWE 205 Live and NXT Superstar Oney Lorcan has confirmed that he has re-signed with WWE. This comes after Lorcan reported requested his release back in October. According to PWInsider’s Mike Johnson (November 16th), Lorcan requested his release at the end of October, seemingly due to the way that he was being booked in the promotion. Lorcan had changed his Twitter account handle to Biff Busick, the name he used during his independent run back before he signed for WWE back in 2015. During his independent run Busick worked for the likes of EVOLVE, Beyond Wrestling and CZW, among other companies.

New Deal Signed – Lorcan

Lorcan sent out the following tweet confirming that he had re-signed with the company. “I AM PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT I HAVE AGREED TO A NEW MULTI YEAR CONTRACT AGREEMENT WITH WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT MAY THE WRESTLING GODS HAVE MERCY ON YOUR SOULS”

Triple H Comments…

Oney Lorcan had also previously tweeted some disparaging comments seemingly aimed at WWE COO and head of NXT Triple H. ‘The Game’ Triple H had discussed talents airing their grievances on social media, saying “anybody that’s out there that is serious about it that’s talking on the internet. That ain’t the place to do it. We all have phones, we all have cell phones… you handle your business like a professional. Everybody likes to think we don’t stick to the word and everybody likes to say professional wrestlers. The key word in front of that, professional. That’s what we’re trying to change about the business and make people more professional.”

Lorcan responded to this by tweeting the following comments: “THE MATURE PROFESSIONAL THING TO SAY WOULD BE NO COMMENT AND HAVE A PRIVATE CONVERSATION PROMOTER TO INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR. INSTEAD OF BURYING TALENT PUBLICLY TO THE MEDIA THATS HOW I DO BUSINESS. ITS ALL ABOUT THE GAME AND HOW YOU PLAY IT”

Make of that what you will.
