The 24-year-old came into the tournament with a losing streak of 7 matches. Not many would have seen her reach the quarterfinals but she has managed to get to the last 8 with some dominating performances.

In the round of 32, Bronzetti got the better of Jodie Anna Burrage in straight sets 6-4, 6-4. The Italian tennis star produced another comprehensive display against Croatian qualifier Jana Fett in the round of 16. Bronzetti oozed class during her 6-4, 6-2 triumph. Bronzetti has tactically outsmarted her opponents so far in the competition and would hope to continue her good form.

Clara Burel

The young Frenchwoman has managed to reach her third consecutive quarterfinal. She couldn’t get past the quarters in both the WTA Montevideo Open and the WTA Angers Arena Loire Open. Burel will hope to end the quarterfinal jinx in Limoges.
