Here is our Complete Overwatch Character Tier List where we have ranked all the characters available in the game.
If you’re a gamer, you’ve most likely played or heard of Overwatch. Blizzard’s game has captivated us for hours and continues to do so by constantly evolving and changing, modifying the heroes’ powers, and therefore “forcing” the meta to evolve. Gone are the days when a team of 3-4 Tanks might dominate. When we first heard Genji’s war cry, we all remembered the famed Nano-visor/Nano-blade stats. The meta is constantly changing, and we believe it’s past time for us to establish an Overwatch Tier List that reflects the current state of the meta, identifying which heroes are viable and which aren’t.
Overwatch players should rest easy knowing that Blizzard is still considering adding new content to the game. The most recent experimental patch breathed new life into the game, and gamers have praised the extravagant changes. The only issue is that these modifications are just temporary. There are no fascinating new twists on the roles available solely in the non-competitive queue. As a result, they will not be included in the Overwatch December Tier List in 2021.
Overwatch Character Tier List
S Tier
It’s a little strange that some of the same heroes who were nerfed a long time ago have resurfaced in the top tier. One of the disadvantages of never releasing new heroes might be this. Worse, if no buffs are given to characters that have had troubles in the past, the same core characters will eventually rise to the top. Sigma and Orisa are good examples. The tank duo was one of the most oppressive configurations in Overwatch, and they had to be nerfed to make them less so. However, with nothing new to hold them in the lower echelons, they gradually climbed back up.
- Mei
- Orisa
- Sigma
- Tracer
- Baptiste
- Brigitte
- D.Va
- Echo
- Lucio
A Tier
This list will only grow as players discover new methods to play each hero in various situations. Each hero has a specific job to play, and there are a variety of heroes that can fulfill that duty admirably. This parity is beneficial to gameplay and the game as a whole. Players can feel confident in their choices, and there’s a strong chance the hero will work on any map. Sure, some heroes, like Pharah and Reinhardt, require a little additional planning to use properly, but the second tier is chock-full of great heroes.
- Moira
- Pharah
- Reaper
- Reinhardt
- Soldier: 76
- Ana
- Ashe
- Cassidy
- Junkrat
- Hanzo
- Mercy
- Torbjorn
- Winston
- Wrecking Ball
- Zarya
- Zenyatta
B Tier
Widowmaker is promoted to the third tier since snipers can still be used in some situations. Widow performs admirably on long-range maps. When a strategy falls apart, the issue always boils down to failing to swap. Widowmaker’s high-risk, high-reward gameplay is frequently criticised by solo queue players, but it shouldn’t deter teams from trying her out on maps like Gibraltar or Havana.
- Roadhog
- Sombra
- Symmetra
- Widowmaker
C Tier
Bastion is currently not just difficult to play against, but the turret character is really tedious to play. For a few moments, sitting in one location to surprise your opponents is entertaining, but it’s not excellent gameplay. Bastion has been solved as a character, and only professional players have figured out how to make Bastion’s playstyle more dynamic. He remains at the bottom of the tier list despite everything.
- Bastion
- Doomfist
- Genji
This was our Overwatch character Tier List. While some players might be waiting for the sequel, loyal fans continue to support their favorite game. Overwatch can be played on the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
