Predicted Arsenal XI to face Huddersfield Town in the Premier League
Arsenal were held to a 2-2 draw away home from by Manchester United in the Premier League on Wednesday night.
The Gunners slipped down to 5th in the Premier League standings as a result of that draw and Unai Emery’s men will be desperate to get all three points when they play host to Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
Huddersfield lost 2-1 to Bournemouth on Tuesday and the Terriers will be up against it when they face an Arsenal side who are unbeaten for 20 games across all competitions.
Team News
Unai Emery has plenty of injuries to contend with for Saturday’s clash. Rob Holding suffered a knee injury against Manchester United and he is unlikely to feature at the weekend while Nacho Monreal and Konstantinos Mavropanos continue to be on the sidelines to nurse their respective injuries.
Granit Xhaka will be back in contention after serving a one-game ban but Aaron Ramsey suffered a foot injury and is doubtful for Saturday’s game. Both Mesut Ozil and Laurent Koscielny are not yet fully fit but they might be pushing for a return. Danny Welbeck is ruled out with a broken ankle.

Predicted XI
1. Bernd Leno (GK)
He wasn’t particularly sharp with his reflexes in the last game and will be expected to improve for this one.
2. Hector Bellerin (RB)
The Spaniard put in a wonderful performance at Old Trafford and was a constant threat in the attacking third.
3. Sokratis (CB)
He wasn’t at his best against United and Arsenal will need him to be more solid at the back.
4. Shkodran Mustafi (CB)
The German international scored a goal in the last game but question marks still remain over his defensive game and he will be expected to improve on that.
5. Sead Koalsinac (LB)
The Bosnian put in an excellent shift at Old Trafford, solid at the back and was a constant menace up front with his crosses.
6. Lucas Torreira (CDM)
He has been one of the standout performers for the Gunners this season and definitely deserves a start on Saturday.
7. Matteo Guendouzi (CDM)
The Frenchman was of Arsenal’s best players against United and showed plenty of tenacity in the midfield.
8. Henrikh Mkhitaryan (CAM)
He hasn’t been at his best this season and the fans have every reason to expect more from him.
9. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (LW)
The former Dortmund man wasn’t able to take his chances against United but Emery should continue to rely on him as he has been very clinical this season.

10. Mesut Ozil (RW)
The German wasn’t fit to start against United but he will definitely be pushing for a return on Saturday.
11. Alexandre Lacazette (ST)
He scored a scrappy goal in the last game but he has been one of the key components of Arsenal’s attack this season and Emery should hand him a start for this one.
