John Morrison confirmed his return to WWE and Paige wants his wife to join him

John Morrison returning to WWE is a big deal but Paige wants his wife, Taya Valkyrie, to join him too.

The former ECW, WWE tag and Intercontinental champion left WWE in 2011. He was already a quality singles wrestler but was unable to win the top prize in WWE.

However, Morrison picked up several titles in other promotions after leaving WWE.

The company confirmed his return on a long-term deal with Ryan Satin breaking the news.

Paige, who is part of the Fox show, WWE Backstage, wasn’t just happy with Morrison returning. The former women’s champion then tweeted that she wanted another person to join too.

Taya Valkyrie married Morrison in 2018 and she has been one of the best at Impact Wrestling and at Lucha Libre AAA too.

Valkyrie tweeted that she was proud of her husband, Morrison returning to WWE, and Paige wanted her to join.

Who is Taya Valkyrie?

Valkyrie has been the longest serving Knockouts champion at Impact Wrestling. The wrestler also had a try-out at WWE in 2011, but was unable to make much headway in the brand.

The Canadian is the current Knockouts champion and also holds the Ironfist Women’s title too.

She is also the current AAA Reina de Reinas champion and has held the belt thrice.

Valkyrie and Morrison had been dating for over two years before getting married in 2018.

It will be interesting to see if Valkyrie makes the move to WWE. She is one of the top performers at Impact Wrestling, but WWE has several top quality female wrestlers across the three brands these days.

What next for Morrison?

Morrison had been in an on and off relationship with Melina from their MNM days in WWE, and it will be interesting to see what kind of run he has after rejoining the company.

WWE didn’t confirm when he would be coming on TV, and it would be a major surprise if he is brought on NXT before making the move to a bigger brand.

Morrison knows WWE extremely well and has won several titles during his years away from the company.

The 40-year-old has a ton of experience and would be a valuable member of either of the top two brands.
