Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have come out in the 2022-23 season with a mission set on their hands. After losing the NBA Finals last time around against the Golden State Warriors, the Boston Celtics are not wanting to put even a foot wrong, and their 24-10 tally ahead of the matchup against LA Clippers indicate just that.
Paul George, the star of Los Angeles Clippers, who was all set to lock horns against the defending Eastern Conference Champions praised the opposition’s key duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen, emphasizing on how well they compliment each other on the court. Perhaps that is just what is required for the Cs to win their record-breaking 18th NBA Championship.
PG13 said as Fadeaway World, “With a team like them they’re obviously gifted offensively with Jayson and Jaylen They got great pieces around them so they’re gifted offensively. And with the growth and maturation of both of those two guys, I think they’re doing a great job of sharing that load, being playmakers, and scorers, and really just elevating each other. You see that with them and it’s great to see.”
The former Oklahoma City Thunder star added, “I love both of their games. I hope those two guys stick together for the rest of their careers. They’re special together. It’s definitely a dynamic duo. They just compliment each other so well.”
Keeping aside Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown for now, this probably the first time since the Covid-impacted season where LA Clippers are looking to be a dangerous side with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George both coming into full form and health, making their supporting cast perform even at a better efficiency rate. Can the Clippers make this season count? Hopefully if the Claw and PG13 continue to stay healthy.
