In Persona 3 Reload, the main objective is to slay monsters and discover the mystery secrets of the Dark Hour.
You can converse with residents in the dorm, cook recipes and explore the Tatsumi Port Island together. The beasts or otherwise called Shadows will intrude the Gekkoukan High School and make it Tartarus. Characters can meet new friends and join together to destroy the Shadows in the Port Island. Persona 3 Reload has been launched for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
Though Persona 3 Reload and Persona Original have many things in common, players are actually not aware of minor changes. In Persona 3 Original, players had the feature to choose between two lead roles. Both male and female protagonists were the original, but Kotone Shiomi will not appear in the remake version. Students will not be able to meet Kotone or develop a bond with her. Kotone will be missed by lots of fans, but that’s how the story of Persona 3 Reload goes forward. But the good thing is students can meet other friends in the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad and develop a bond with them.
Theurgy and Shift are two new major features in Persona 3 Reload version. After defeating an enemy, students can shift the next attack to another enemy. You can simply allow other students to launch an attack by pressing the right controls. The shift is an excellent combat mechanic that’s also similar to the Baton Pass in Persona 5.
Theurgy is another combat mechanic in Persona 5 Reload. This feature allows you to increase powers for Personas. You also have to place the special cartridge to an Evoker to activate Theurgy skill. You can follow the Theurgy gauge levels and launch your attacks effectively.
In Persona 3 Reload, you will listen to new soulful and haunting soundtracks. Also, voice over for students from the Persona 3 Original are changed as well. There will be new dialogues for social links. Music will keep changing for each story and persona.
You will reside in Iwatodai Dorm along with school students of Gekkoukan. It is also the main hub for the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad. You can interact with new friends, watch tv with school students, cook together with dorm members and develop social links with new students.
While there are no new stories in Persona 3 Reload edition, there’s a new Link Epsiode which allows students and members of SEES to explore new stories. Link Episodes are chapters exclusively launched for every student. You can explore new stories in Link Episodes in a different world and analyze the strengths of other students as well.
