Peyton Royce, real name Cassandra McIntosh, is an Australian WWE star that is known for her tag work alongside Billie Kay.
Royce was born in Sydney, Australia, and moved to Melbourne before taking up wrestling as a career.
She picked up her wrestling skills from Lance Storm but she was an excellent dancer and attended Westfield Sports school with Kay, who became her future partner.
Royce spent a few years picking up titles in Australia before getting a trial with WWE and then teaming up with the promotion.
The 27-year-old spent most of her time as a tag team with Kay during NXT and WWE. However, she is set to embark on a singles career now.
Further, Royce took part in a bikini modelling contest and although she didn’t win, she did place in the top three.

While the Australian is one of the rising stars in WWE, she isn’t the highest-paid female athlete. A few of the female stars earn $1million or more, such as Becky Lynch.

Peyton Royce claimed that Eddie Guerrero was her inspiration as she started watching wrestling at an early age.
She started off her career by participating in promotions such as Pro Wrestling Women’s Alliance under the name of KC Cassidy.
She fought her future partner, Kay, several times on the Aussie circuit and even faced off against future WWE star Emma.
Royce featured on Shimmer Women a few times and other Australian promotions before impressing the WWE during a tour.
Royce got a call up to train with WWE during their 2014 tour and signed as an NXT trainee in 2015. Royce started off her NXT career with losses to Sasha Banks and Eva Marie before taking up her Peyton Royce name.
She then formed a team with Kay and called it the IIconic Duo. However, she continued battling in singles competition too and lost out to Asuka in winning the NXT title.
Things were to improve for the IIconics, when they moved to SmackDown in 2018. Kay and Royce were now featuring in tag matches throughout and even won the WWE Women’s tag team titles on Raw against Banks and Bayley.
The pair then lost the titles to Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross. The IIconics failed to reclaim the titles and then lost a match against the Riott Squad at Payback 2020.
The Aussie team had to split up as both stars embarked on their singles career.
There isn’t much available regarding the parents or the family of the Australian before she joined WWE.
Royce did send a message during the Australian Bushfires where she couldn’t get into contact with her family. However, they were able to message her and confirmed they were safe.
Peyton Royce is married to fellow wrestler Shawn Spears. Spears, who was called Tye Dillinger in WWE, left to join AEW and the pair got married in August 2019.
