He is nicknamed “lefty” for his unique left-handed swing.  He has won 45 events on the PGA tour which included six major championships. He has also owned three Masters Titles in the year 2004, 2006, and 2010 and 2 PGA championships in the years 2005 and 2021.

Apart from these medals, he has also won 1 Open Championship in 2013. He created history by becoming the oldest major championship winner at the age of 50, by winning the 2021 PGA championship. He holds multiple records and currently is listed among the 17 golfers to win three of the four majors. Other than the US Open where he finished as a runner-up 6 times, he has won all the major titles and championships.

His name was on the list of top 50 Golfers in the world according to the Official World Golf Ranking for more than 25 years. Mickelson was also included in the 2012 World Golf Hall of Fame.
