Chris Paul brings up hard work put in by Devin Booker after NBA Finals Game 2 win

The Phoenix Suns made the news by defeating The Milwaukee Bucks in Game 2 of the 2021 NBA Finals with Chris Paul playing a key role

Former LA Clippers and Houston Rockets star, Chris Paul, is having quite a season after taking the unfancied Phoenix Suns all the way to the NBA Finals.

The Phoenix Suns reaching the playoffs was big news since the team missed out on the post season every year since 2010.

They faced defending champions, the LA Lakers, in the first round but got past LeBron James and company.

The wins have come just as impressively ever since with Paul leading the performances. However, Devin Booker, in his first playoffs, has been a star too but CP3 knew all about his teammate as he spoke after Game 2 of the NBA Finals:

“He puts the work in, that’s what a lot of people don’t see. You see the games, you don’t see all the shots after practice, all this different type stuff so.

“He built for it, he built for it, and that was something I saw before I came here. It is nice to be on his team.”

Booker and Paul aren’t the only ones performing with Deandre Ayton also doing a stellar job.

The Suns have reached the NBA Finals for the first time in their franchise history and this is as great a chance to win it all as any.

They are 2-0 now but have to travel to Milwaukee for the next games. The Bucks will be hoping that home court advantage comes into play here but CP3 has been in a league of his own during the playoffs.

Both teams weren’t all that fancied to reach the finals but this NBA season has been topsy turvy. However, the teams are here on merit and whoever comes out on top will be deserving champions.
