The State of Play for 2024 has been revealed by PlayStation and all new games and trailers are out. Right from action to survival, many games will come to PlayStation and PC as well. The State of Play is a PlayStation video program that showcases every new trailer along with all upcoming releases. PlayStation State of Play May 2024 includes these updates,

Astro Bot

The space exploration game features 6 galaxies and more than 80 levels. You can use skills and strategies to survive the battle. In Astro Boy, players can explore an adventure through forests, planets, beaches and volcanoes. Every biome features unique challenges and the goal is to explore and survive planets without getting killed. With 15 different abilities, you can dash targets and dodge their attacks. Astro Bot will be launched on September 6, 2024 for PlayStation 5.

Concord

Action game fans have a new shooter game. Concord is a multiplayer fps where players engage in 5v5 battles. Play as alien characters and utilize skills. Concord offers new stories, characters and maps every week. The game will be launched for both PlayStation 5 and PC on August 23, 2024.

God of War Ragnarök

The long wait of God of War Ragnarok fans will finally end as the action adventure based on Norse Mythology will finally be launched for PC on September 19, 2024. God of War Ragnarok is available for Pre-purchase and fans can unlock exclusive content including gifts. Players play as Krato and Atreus and engage in puzzle quests and boss fights.

Until Dawn

Until Dawn is an intimidating survival game and a remake for the original has been confirmed. The tale of 8 friends in the areas of Blackwood Mountain will be the main plot. You have to find the two missing previous gang members in a new journey on Blackwood Mountain. Until Dawn remake will be launched for PS5 and PC in the second half of 2024.

Skydance’s Behemoth

A monster-hunting fantasy game where you have to defeat zombies and  monsters in the snow lands. You can use skills and weapons. Skydance’s Behemoth offers primary battle techniques like parry, dodge, hack and slash. The VR game offers side-quests, boss battles and puzzle quests. Skydance’s Behemoth will be released for Fall 2024.

Path of Exile 2

Path of Exile 2, the action RPG, will be available for early access from the second half of 2024. In Path of Exile 2, players can use 12 classes and engage in co-op battles with 6 players in a lobby. With 240 skill gems and 200 support gems, Path of Exile 2 will be an exciting adventure game with more than 2000 skills. With skill gems, you can unlock all special abilities in the game. Path of Exile 2 will be bigger than its prequel. An official release date for Path of Exile 2 is not available yet.

Monster Hunter Wilds

The Monster Hunter series gets bigger with a new release in 2025. Monster Hunter Wild features a vast world with different locales and environments. Play as a Hunter and tame monsters in every chapter and progress in the campaign. Chatacabra, Doshaguma and Ceratonoth will be the top-tier monsters in the game.

Silent Hill 2 

The Remake of Silent Hill 2 will be launched on October 8, 2024. A psychological horror game that’s played in a third-person perspective. In this single-player survival game, you will play as James Sunderland, who returns to the Silent Hill town to find his dead wife, Mary.

Alien: Rogue Incursion 

The first VR alien game is set for a launch in Holiday 2024. Alien: Rogue Incursion is a single-player horror game where players have to fight against the Xenomorphs. This will be one of the best video games featuring aliens. The other technical features for the Alien Rogue Invasion will be out soon.

Marvel Rivals

The team-based super hero shooter game from NetEase Games will have a Closed Beta test for PS5 in July 2024. In Marvel Rivals, players can play as their favorite Marvel heroes and utilize special abilities to win the combat.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins

An intense battle game from the team of Omega Force will be available in 2025. In Dynasty Warriors:Origins, players take on the role of a warrior and fight against every Kingdom. With skills and weapons, you can rule the world. Dynasty Warriors Origins will be released in the first half of 2025.

Ballad of Antara

Another fantasy game from PlayStation is set for a launch in 2025. Ballad of Antara will be similar to Lords of the Fallen with two different worlds. Players can explore the normal world and another fantasy world known as Para. Emissaries have to help a little girl in every region and find ways to overcome the threat to the realms. In the World of Para, players can find Ancient powers and special skills.

Infinity Nikki

An open-world dress-up adventure game from Infold Games will be released in 2025. Infinity Nikki will  have a beta test in 2024 before the full version release. Play as Nikki and save the World of Miraland. Infinity Nikki follows the journey and struggles of Nikki and Momo in Miraland.

Where Winds Meet

Another Open World adventure game that’s set in the period of Ancient China. Where Winds Meet is a Wuxia RPG with Martial Arts as the main theme. Play as a Swordsman, solve puzzles and slay bosses using techniques. The game will be released in 2024.

PlayStation is gearing up for these releases in the next two years. Apart from these, there will be many new Single-Player narrative games and live service games as well. There are no updates on the upcoming new PlayStation consoles.
