Galarian Stunfisk
After completing the Timed Research quest you’ll be rewarded with encounters with Ariados, Pelipper, and Galarian Stunfisk, as well as 10 Candy for each Pokemon. This will happen when you choose the Galarian Stunfisk path. A major addition to your collection is Galarian Stunfisk, the best Great League competitor of all time. Pelipper is also a nice Water/Flying creature, although Ariados isn’t all that worthwhile.
Drapion
As a reward for completing the Timed Research quest, you’ll encounter Skarmory, Swampert, and Drapion, as well as 10 Candy for each Pokemon on the Drapion path. Both Skampert and Swampert are excellent choices for your Great League team and are extremely effective together as well. Sadly, Drapion is most likely the least powerful Pokemon available in this Timed Research.
Jellicent
As a reward for completing the Timed Research quest, you’ll meet Talonflame, Venusaur, and Jellicent in the Jellicent path. Combined, these three Pokemon form an excellent team to use in the Great League metagame. Even better, Talonflame knows the move Incinerate, which is usually only available on Community Days.
What should you choose in the Pokemon GO Choose A Path?
If you go with the Jellicent path, you’ll get a well-rounded team with a Talonflame that has Incinerate as its featured attack. In our opinion, the Drapion path is the second best option. Despite Drapion’s lack of usefulness, you will get Skarmory and Swampert, two top-ranking rivals in the Great League.
