Pokemon Go Haloween Event 2021 – Start Date, Pokemon and more

Published by

We are halfway through October and we have some exciting news about the upcoming Pokemon Go Haloween Event.

It’s that time of year again when the scariest Pokémon emerge from hiding to frighten unwary trainers and cause havoc in the game. Halloween events in Pokémon GO are a yearly occurrence, and while October 31 is still a ways off, it’s always worth knowing what’s in store. You can read the official announcement here.

This Halloween will offer something for everyone, whether you’re looking forward to event-exclusive Pokémon GO field research activities or simply want to prepare some Pokémon GO Rocket Grunt countermeasures for the evil team’s ghoulish gangs.

Pokemon Go Haloween Event Start Date

The “Halloween Mischief” event will be split into two halves and run from October 15 to October 31, with a variety of wild Pokemon dressed up for the Halloween season. Halloween Mischief Part 1: Creepy Companions will begin on Friday, October 15, 2021, and conclude on Friday, October 22, 2021.

Seasonal Pokemon for Haloween Event 2021

Yanmask and Cofagrigus

Many Ghost-type Pokémon are available all year, however, they aren’t as common as they used to be. They will, however, appear at a much higher rate during the Halloween event. Yamask also only comes once a year during the Halloween event, and its shiny is also obtainable.

Yanmask and Cofagrigus

It evolves into Cofagrigus, a fully evolved average Ghost-type Pokémon. Yamask can be obtained in both sections of the event through wild encounters and One-Star raids, as well as through Field Research, but only during Part 2. During the event, Galarian Yamask is also available, but it does not yet have a shiny in the game.

Galarian Slowking

The first half of the event will be dedicated to spooky companions. In the outdoors, you’ll come across a lot of Psychic and Poison-type Pokemon, including the newly introduced Galarian Slowking. This isn’t the only new Pokemon to appear in the game during this event; Shiny Spinirak will also make an appearance.

Costumed Pokemon

Halloween Mischief Pikachu, Piplup, and Drifblim are the three costumed Pokemon you can meet. If you’re lucky, you’ll find shiny versions of these Pokemon. In the Go Battle League, you can also find Halloween Mischief Drifblim as a reward.

It’s also worth noting that throughout the event, three packages will be available for purchase. The Creepy Crate, which costs 480 Pokecoins and contains 50 Poke Balls, one Remote Raid Pass, two Super Incubators, and four Incense, is the first option. The Boo Bundle, which costs 1,480 Pokecoins and includes 16 Premium Raid Passes, eight Super Incubators, four Incense, and four Star Pieces, is the next item on the list. Finally, for 1,480 Pokecoins, you can get the Pumpkin Pack. You’ll get 18 Super Incubators, two Incubators, four Incense, and four Star Pieces as a result of this.

Pokemon Go Mega Raids and Five Star Raids

Mega Gengar will be the featured Mega raid boss for Part 1 of the Halloween event. Psychic, Ghost, Ground, and Dark are all weak to the Ghost/Poison type. This is one of the finest ways to deal with Psychic and Ghost raid bosses. For the first time in Part 2, Mega Absol will be the featured Mega raid boss. Bug, Fighting, and Fairy attacks are all weak to the pure Dark-type.

Altered Forme Giratina will be available during Part 1 of the event. Giratina is weak to Dark, Dragon, Ice, Ghost, and Fairy attacks as a Ghost/Dragon-type, therefore trainers should utilise countermeasures with these moves if they have them.

Darkrai will be available in Five-Star raids starting in Part 2.It is the strongest pure Dark-type Pokémon in the main series games, and its power translates well to Pokémon Go, so trainers should be prepared. It is weak to Bug, Fighting, and Fairy attacks.

In addition, memorable music from the original Pokemon games returns for the event. Every night, the remixed version of Lavender Town will be played. We are very excited for the Pokemon Go Haloween Event with all the exciting events.
