Niantic announced an Instinctive Hero event for Pokemon Go trainers across the globe that would focus on helping the leader of team Instinct known as Spark. A similar event revolving around Blanche, the team Mystique Leader was conducted earlier in 2023 and this upcoming event would also mark the debut of Larvester and Volcaron in Pokemon Go.
Pokemon GO Larvesta and Volcarona Special Event
The Instinctive Hero event is all set to begin on May 2, 2023, at 10 am local time and will go on till Monday, May 8, 2023, till 8 pm local time. During this event players will get a chance to be a part of special research Quest line, field research task Encounters egg hatches, and more.
Ths event would mark the debut of Larvester and Volcarona in the game. Pokemon Go trainers will get a chance to evolve Larvesta into Volcarona during this tenure. They can do so by making use of 400 Larvesta candies. Given that this can be an important role to play in this event it is advised that you collect as many of them during the event.
Below is the list of the egg that will hatch during an instinctive Hero event
Larvesta
Youwill come across the Larvesta egg when you reach a distance of 2km, 5km, and 10km eggs. The Instinct Hero special research Questline will let trainers encounter an Elekid with a Spark-themed accessory. However, you can only do so upon completing the task that would be given to you by the team Instinct leader. Upon completing the event-themed field research tasks players will be rewarded with the following Pokemon Encounters.
7km Distance Pokemons
- Mime Jr. [shiny encounter will be available]
- Happiny [shiny encounter will be available]
- Mantyke [shiny encounter will be available]
- Timburr [shiny encounter will be available]
- Karrablast [shiny encounter will be available]
- Axew [shiny encounter will be available]
- Shelmet [shiny encounter will be available]
- Goomy
Upon finishing the Instinctive Hero event, players would also be rewarded with the following rewards.
- Magneton
- Chansey [shiny encounter will be available]
- Electabuzz [shiny encounter will be available]
- Magmar [shiny encounter will be available]
- Snorlax [shiny encounter will be available]
- Mantine [shiny encounter will be available]
- Chimecho [shiny encounter will be available]
Pokemon Go Instinctive Hero Quest Rewards
Players will get the chance to earn bonuses during this event and here are all the bonuses: that you will get:
- Players will get an increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokemon from hatching 2km, 5km, and 10km eggs
- Players will get 2x Hatch XP
- Players will get 2x Hatch Stardust
Along with the debut of these two Pokemons the game developers have also revealed the entire May 2023 content plan for Pokemon Go. Next month players will get to see the debut of the much-awaited Mega-Pinsir and the Shiny Tapu Fini, with other events.
