Mountains of Power is a Pokemon GO event that continues the story that began with the Season of Heritage and adds a new set of Timed Research objectives. These tasks will be available until Thursday, January 13 at 8 p.m. local time, and players who complete them will receive a range of incentives. Mountains of Power is an event that centers on Pokémon that can be found in caves and gloomy areas, and it introduced Shiny Slugma and Mega Aerodactyl to the game. The spawns for Mountains of Power are listed here, as well as details on the event-exclusive Field Research and Timed Research Tasks.
The Mountains of Power event will span one week, commencing at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 7, 2022, and concluding at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2022. Unlike the Season of Heritage XP Challenge, which takes place this month, this event does not require the purchase of an additional item, such as a Tour: Johto ticket.
