Here is everything you should know about the Pokemon Go Power Plant Event and the rewards that come with it. Heliolisk and Helioptile are here!
The Power Plant event kicks off the next part of the Season of Heritage on Jan. 19, providing Pokémon Go players the chance to meet the Electric and Normal-type Helioptile and Heliolisk.
This electric event is inspired by the Power Plant facilities from both Kanto and Kalos, and it will see Team Instinct’s captain Spark assisting players in unraveling yet another piece of the ongoing season’s mystery.
Pokemon Go Power Plant Event Start Date
The Pokemon Go Power Plant event will begin on January 19, 2022, and will go until February 1, 2022. This gives participants around two weeks to finish the Research and enjoy everything the event has to offer.
Helioptile and Heliolisk in Pokemon Go
Helioptile and its evolution Heliolisk are coming to Pokémon GO as part of the Power Plant event, as teased in the current game loading screen. The cost of evolution will be 50 candy and a Sun Stone — the last Pokémon to require a Sun Stone was Cottonee, which debuted in August 2020.

During the event, the following Pokemon will be available more frequently:
- Magnemite
- Grimer
- Voltorb
- Electabuzz
- Porygon
- Trubbish
- Helioptile
- Electrode
- Jolteon
Pokemon Go Power Plant Event Raid Boss
Pokemon Go will have some new Raid bosses and they have divided it into three tiers. The tier 1 Pokemon will be available throughout the whole event while the Tier 3 and Tier 5 Pokemon will be available for 1 week and will be changed. Here are the Pokemon that will be available in the Pokemon Go Power Plant Event.

Pokemon Go Power Plant Event Field Research
Power Plant will be getting dozens of new Field Research activities that will net you a variety of rewards as well as the possibility to catch Pokemon like Joltik and Emolga. To collect as many limited-time goodies as possible, complete as many as you can throughout the event.

Rare Pokemon – Joltik, Alolan Grimer, Emolga
The new event will continue the adventure and we will explore more of the story. Players can download Pokemon Go from the App Store and the Google Play Store.
