Here is everything you should know about the Pokemon Go Power Plant Event and the rewards that come with it. Heliolisk and Helioptile are here!
The Power Plant event kicks off the next part of the Season of Heritage on Jan. 19, providing Pokémon Go players the chance to meet the Electric and Normal-type Helioptile and Heliolisk.
This electric event is inspired by the Power Plant facilities from both Kanto and Kalos, and it will see Team Instinct’s captain Spark assisting players in unraveling yet another piece of the ongoing season’s mystery.
The Pokemon Go Power Plant event will begin on January 19, 2022, and will go until February 1, 2022. This gives participants around two weeks to finish the Research and enjoy everything the event has to offer.
Helioptile and its evolution Heliolisk are coming to Pokémon GO as part of the Power Plant event, as teased in the current game loading screen. The cost of evolution will be 50 candy and a Sun Stone — the last Pokémon to require a Sun Stone was Cottonee, which debuted in August 2020.
During the event, the following Pokemon will be available more frequently:
Pokemon Go will have some new Raid bosses and they have divided it into three tiers. The tier 1 Pokemon will be available throughout the whole event while the Tier 3 and Tier 5 Pokemon will be available for 1 week and will be changed.
