Firstly, keep in mind that Regice is an ice-type of Pokémon. You should know that Ice-type Pokémon are known to have an excellent defense mechanism.
Regice’s major weakness lies in Fighting, Fire, Rock, and Steel-type attacks and it can resist any Ice-type attacks. Basically, if you have strong Pokemon of this type, you are golden.
The highest defense stat of Regice in Pokémon Go is 309 with a stamina of 190. This could be a weak point for small raid groups because bosses like Regice can make the opponent trainer’s all attacks go down the well and defend it with no effort. It could indeed be difficult for players to defeat this bulky ice-type of Pokémon in a given limited time.
Thankfully, Pokémon Go has a variety of strong Rock and Fire-type creatures which are also the weaknesses of the ice-type boss Regice in Pokémon Go.
If you are going to choose fire type Pokémon it’s highly suggested that you bring out Heatran or Darmanitan in this battle against Regice. Heatran is a secondary steel type Pokémon as well. Using this type of pokemon would mean you and your Pokémon could sustain longer in the battle against Regice.
Other than this, Trainers could opt for any Pokémon with high damage resistance and attack so that Regice runs out of its stamina and becomes slightly more vulnerable to attacks. Pokémon like Metagross and Cobalion are other Pokémon that you keep handy as they are immune to Ice-type damage to a very great level that Regice would use as an attack.
