With more festive fun and holiday cheer to enjoy with friends and your Buddy Pokemon, Niantic has officially launched the second part of their Christmas-themed event, Winter Holiday. Trainers will have another chance to get their wishes granted this Christmas with more Pokemon and Shinies to meet and more rewards to earn.

On Friday, December 23 at 10 am local time, Pokemon GO’s second part of the Winter Holiday event started. Players will be able to begin working on Winter Wishes, an event-exclusive Timed Research for which fans need to make a choice, at that time. In Pokemon GO’s Winter Wishes Timed Research, players must choose between hatching eggs, catching Pokemon, or catching Stardust, and this guide will help them do so.

Pokemon Go Winter Wishes Event Tasks and Rewards

• Catch 5 Pokemon (1x Glacial Lure Module)
• Spin 3 PokeStops or Gyms (Holiday Hat Eevee Encounter)
• Power up Pokemon 5 Times (2x Silver Pinap Berry)

Rewards: 200x Stardust, 500 XP

Hatching Eggs Path

• Catch 10 Pokemon (Holiday Stantler Encounter)
• Catch 25 Pokemon (Holiday Chubchoo Encounter)
• Catch 40 Ice-type Pokemon (Lapras Encounter)
• Catch 8 Different Species of Ice-type Pokemon (Holiday Delibird Encounter)
• Hatch 3 Eggs (Galarian Darumaka Encounter)

Collecting Stardust Path

It is therefore the path bonuses that players should consider when choosing between the hatching egg path, catching Pokemon path, and collecting stardust path.
