Apple TV+’s Cha Cha Real Smooth ending explained. Do Andrew and Domino end up together? (Spoilers ahead)
Cha Cha Real Smooth is an Apple TV+ comedy drama which is written and directed by Cooper Raiff. This film is about Andrew, a 22-year-old college graduate and his struggle to find purpose after college graduation.
However, things start to look good for Andrew when he gets a gig sitting for Lola who is autistic. Andrew soon falls for Lola’s mom Domino who is being played by Dakota Johnson, but their relationship is complicated by both their age gap and Domino’s fiancé Joseph.
So since the movie has starred on the OTT platform a lot of fans are wondering about how the movie ends. Does Andrew end up with Domino or whether Domino chose Andrew over Joseph?
So as the film progressed towards the end we see Andrew hosting a bar mitzvah party which Jose and Lola attend but Domino didn’t. He learned that Domino would be moving to Chicago and would marry Jose, which caused him to get drunk and create a scene.
He later went to Domino’s house, confronted her about his feelings for each other, and professed his love. But he gets turned down by Domino. This is when he felt forced to confront reality and deal with his emotions.
In the very final moments of the movie Andrew and Domino get to have one last conversation as they wait in the carpool line to pick up David and Lola from school.
Domino admits that she has a hard time accepting that her whole life will be defined by Lola and Joseph. But Andrew, she says, just has Andrew. He can take the time to just figure things out. Andrew tells her that he still thinks he’s one of her soulmates. The two bid farewell and move on with their lives.
Cha Cha Real Smooth ending saw Domino getting married to Joseph. Andrew moved out of his mother’s house and explored a life full of possibilities.
Andrew is partying and enjoy’s his 20s as Domino instructed him to. The film ended on a bittersweet note for both the characters as they grew and learned.
As Andrew is leaving, Joseph catches him. Andrew apologises and gets his forgiveness. He thanks him for taking care of Lola, and his family. Andrew cries in his car on the way home.
Domino’s decision to choose Joseph over Andrew seemed practical as the latter one was yet to discover himself and it was too early for him o decide upon settling down with Domino and Lola.
