Season 4 of the popular Netflix series “Stranger Things” was a hit. So, Is there going to be Stranger Things Season 5?
Stranger Things season 4 Vol 2 is now streaming on Netflix. Now as we reel from the season 4 finals all the fans of the series are stuck with one question is there going to be a Stranger Things Season 5.
In a statement alongside the release date for Stranger Things 4, the Duffer brothers said:
“Seven years ago, we planned out the complete story arc for Stranger Things. At the time, we predicted the story would last four to five seasons. It proved too large to tell in four, but — as you’ll soon see for yourselves — we are now hurtling towards our finale. Season 4 will be the penultimate season; season 5 will be the last.”
So, we all know now that Season 5 is coming but the sad part is this is going to be the last of this massively popular series.
The explosive final two episodes saw Hooper, Joyce, and Murray escape the Soviet prison. But after learning that Eleven, Mike, Will, Jonathan, Argyle, and the rest of the Hawkins crew are trying to defeat yet another monster from the Upside Down, the three double back to destroy the Russians’ stockpile of demogorgons and weaken the hive mind. Cut to the final scene we saw the entire crew reunited in Hawkins but Will reveals that Vena is not dead and soon feels the Mind Flayer present, Just as snow-like particles began to fall from the sky. We can certainly say that the final season will mostly focus on saving Hawkins.
When will Stranger Things 5 be released?
The Duffer brothers have confirmed that they will begin writing season 5 in August 2022 and Harbour has hinted that the filming is set to begin at some point in 2023.
However, there is currently no exact confirmation that when filming will begin for the Season finale.
