Liverpool saw out a rather comfortable 4-1 away victory against Portuguese outfit Porto in the 2nd leg of their Champions League quarterfinal tie. Despite a nervous and shaky start from the men from Merseyside, their defence stood strong as Porto rallied to find the goals.
Goals from Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Virgil van Dijk were enough to see out the Portuguese giants. Although the opponents did get a consolation goal through Eder Militao, the game was nothing more than formality for the Jurgen Klopp’s Reds who progressed with a 6-1 aggregate scoreline.
