Aston Villa will take on Premier League new boys Leeds United as they attempt to keep their 100% record intact. It’s a rather big surprise that Aston Villa are the only English team to have won all four of their league games so far, with a win over Leicester last time around.
Leeds, on the other hand, endured a narrow loss at the hands of Wolves in their previous game. Expect this to be an entertaining affair.
There will be a few names who will likely miss the trip to Leicester such as Wesley. Defenders Kortney Hause and Bjorn Engels are doubts along with goalkeeper Tom Heaton. Other than that, Dean Smith will have most of his squad to take a pick from. Not many changes are expected.
The former Arsenal man is enjoying life being the first choice and will keep his place between the sticks.
Targett keeps his place as the left-back after the Leicester game.
Villa’s best defender for a while now. Won’t have it easy against Jamie Vardy.
Dropped some good performances in the last few games. Keeps his place alongside Mings in the absence of Hause and Engels.
Matty Cash has settled in well at the club and keeps his place on the right side of the defence.
Repaying the faith shown in him. Provided ample protection to the backline with a collected performance.
McGinn is Villa’s midfield lynchpin. Without him, the team looks short on creativity.
Two goals in two games and Barkley already looks like a smart piece of business. Should start this game
He is undoubtedly their best player and an undisputed starter.
The former Chelsea man will be pushing for a start now after coming on from the bench in the last few games.
Ollie Watkins proved to everyone that Villa didn’t make any mistake with his signing. Drew a blank in the last game but will look to bounce back. Should be raring to have a crack at Leeds.
