Everton welcome Arsenal to Goodison Park at the weekend. The Toffees managed to surprise everyone by nicking wins over Chelsea and Leicester.
Meanwhile, the Gunners are enduring a torrid time in the league. They haven’t won even one game in their last six in the league and only managed to draw their last one against Southampton. Expect Ancelotti’s Everton to nick an easy win.
James Rodriguez has missed the last few games and could be out for this one as well. Doubts remain over Seamus Coleman but he could return to the fold during the weekend. Fabian Delph and Lucas Digne are also out for the time being. A fresh injury blow was dealt to Ancelotti in the form of Allan, who was stretchered off with a hamstring issue.
Rotated and rested for the last game, should resume his duties for this one.
Doubtful but for such an important game, he might just be thrown into the mix.
Should replace Mina and slot into his favoured central slot. Scored his first ever goal for Everton in the previous game.
Likely to retain his place in the XI after a good showing in the last game.
Continues in his full-back role due to Digne’s injury. Hasn’t done much wrong playing out of position.
Comes in place of Allan after his injury. Could be set for a few starts during this time after featuring mostly as a substitute recently.
Doucoure has been in good form in the last few games and retains his place.
The hero against Chelsea, Sigurdsson should play in midfield in the absence of key players.
Iwobi fared much better as a winger compared to an experimental wing-back position.
Might not have found the net in a few games but still remains the side’s biggest threat in front of goal.
His tireless contributions finally paid off with a goal in the Leicester game. Another of Everton’s most important players, will be relishing the chance to have a crack at Arsenal.
