Predicted Manchester United XI to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League

Manchester United travel to London as they face Crystal Palace on Tuesday night in Selhurst Park in a crucial Premier League encounter.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men will be heading into this game on the back of a 2-2 draw against Southampton. However, they have extended their unbeaten streak to 17 games and nothing but a win would help their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League.

On the other hand, Crystal Palace would also be hoping to take maximum points and get into the top half of the league standings.

Most of the main players are fit and ready for selection on Thursday except for Luke Shaw, who is doubtful for the game after picking up an ankle injury against the Saints. Axel Tuanzebe and Phil Jones are the other two members who will miss the game against Palace.

Probable Man United XI

Formation: 4-2-3-1

David De Gea (GK)

The Spanish international has made 400 appearances for United so far and is undisputed in goal. He is likely to keep his place and should be hoping to keep a clean sheet.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (RB)

One of the hottest prospects, Wan-Bissaka has been reliable on the right side of the defence for the Red Devils throughout the campaign. He will be expected to make enough contributions, especially while going forward.

Harry Maguire (CB)

Despite maintaining a good record at the back, Maguire seemed to be shaky against Southampton in the last outing. He needs to be at his best against the Eagles.

Victor Lindelof (CB)

Lindelof has established himself at the back for United and is one of their best defenders. He will be an undoubted starter to partner Maguire at the heart of the defence.

Diogo Dalot (LB)

With Shaw and Williams both doubtful for the game, Dalot could get a rare chance to start for Man United.

Fred (CM)

The Brazilian should start ahead of Nemanja Matic, who has been rock solid in the middle of the park but needs some rest. Fred has shown his qualities and is capable of doing what the Serbian did best since the restart.

Paul Pogba (CM)

The World Cup winner has been in sensational form since his return to action after a long break. He will be an undoubted starter for United.

Mason Greenwood (RW)

The teenager is enjoying his breakthrough campaign and has been excellent alongside Rashford and Martial in the front line. He already has 16 goals across all competitions and a few more on Thursday would certainly boost his confidence moving forward.

Bruno Fernandes (AM)

Fernandes has been involved in 14 goals in 11 league games since his arrival. He has been key to United’s resurgence in the past few months and will be expected to contribute some more when they take on the Eagles.

Marcus Rashford (LW)

The 22-year-old finally got his first goal from open play since the restart in the previous outing against Southampton. He is a vital member of the squad and needs to get back to his best at the earliest.

Anthony Martial (ST)

The Frenchman has bagged 8 goals in his last 10 league games and seems to be a completely different player in recent times. He will be leading the line and would be hoping to add to his tally of 16 league goals.
