Predicted Manchester United XI to face Fulham in the Premier League

Manchester United will be hoping to return to winning ways against Fulham after missing out on all three points against Liverpool. The Red Devils are still leading the league but will be wary of the chasing pack slowly closing in. They have won 3 of their last 5 games, losing just one.

Fulham are likely to be under a lot of pressure for this one after just the one win in their last five games. The Cottagers haven’t won in the league since the end of November last year. With the game at Craven Cottage, Manchester United will be fancying themselves for the win given their away form.

Manchester United Team News

Manchester United actually have a clean bill of health going into this game. The only few names to miss out are Brandon Williams and the pair of Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo. Few players who missed out on the Liverpool trip could be given starts here.

It is also very likely that a rotated XI will be out against Fulham as they have a crucial FA Cup game in the weekend. We could see some of the fringe players in action too.

Probable Manchester United XI

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Dean Henderson (GK)

The young shot-stopper can be given the nod as there could be a chance that David De Gea features in the weekend game against Liverpool in the FA Cup.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (RB)

There aren’t a lot of options for Wan-Bissaka to be rested or rotated. Continues his run of games.

Eric Bailly (CB)

A surprise to not see him line up in the Liverpool game but should make it back for this one.

Captain Maguire has been really solid over the last few games and will be hoping to get another clean sheet.

Alex Telles (LB)

Telles and Shaw have operated well in tandem over the season. Telles will be hoping to impress in this one though.

Nemanja Matic (DM)

Matic’s time on the field has been managed well by Solskjaer, so as to not tire him.

Paul Pogba (DM)

Probably United’s best player over the last few games outshining even the mercurial Bruno Fernandes. Will be hoping to continue his good form.

Bruno Fernandes (AM)

Not the best of games for Fernandes against Liverpool and his frustration was rather visible on being hauled off. A goal or two might help in this game.

Mason Greenwood (RW)

The youngster could really do with some goalmouth action. Has looked off colour this season.

Marcus Rashford (LW)

Rashford will need to start finding his teammates on more occasions instead of going for it himself.

Edinson Cavani (ST)

The Uruguayan will be hoping for a start here instead of Martial.
