Predicted Manchester United XI to face Leeds United in the Premier League

Old foes Manchester United and Leeds United rekindle their rivalry in the Premier League this Sunday. The Red Devils are in rip roaring form ahead of this clash as they have not lost in the league since their game against Arsenal. They conjured up the trademark powers of coming back from behind in the last game too as they held firm against Sheffield United.

Leeds are in a bit of a roller coaster form but they managed to slam five past Newcastle in their last game, thereby adding another win. Expect it to be a tightly fought contest. It surely is hard to predict given Manchester United’s overall form and their home form.

Team News

Manchester United and Solskjaer will have very few injuries to deal with. Phil Jones still remains out with a knee injury. There was still no sign of Edinson Cavani still as he continues to remain absent. A lot of changes could be expected from the last game which would bring some of the regulars into the fold.

Probable Manchester United XI

Formation: 4-2-3-1

David De Gea (GK)

A puzzling decision to rotate keepers in the last game and Dean Henderson had a mixed game against his former side. However, one can expect the big Spaniard to return.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (RB)

Tried his best to move forward and participate at both ends. Much improved showing.

Victor Lindelof (CB)

Lindelof has been displaying some exquisite passing range in the last few games and retains his place.

Harry Maguire (CB)

While others may point their fingers at Henderson, Maguire put the young keeper under pressure by staying in the box and passing it to him. Will need to iron out these mistakes.

Luke Shaw (LB)

One of the players to be rested, likely keeping in mind this game. Should return in place of Telles.

Paul Pogba (DM)

Pogba continues to divide opinion but has been putting some marvelous shift in the last few games.

Fred (DM)

Another key player who was rotated with this game in mind.

Bruno Fernandes (AM)

Do not be fooled by the fact that Fernandes didn’t score or assist against Sheffield United. His audacious passing was the driving factor in United’s win.

Mason Greenwood (RW)

Still looks a bit rusty in the final third. A couple of goals would do him a world of good.

Marcus Rashford (LW)

The Mancunian just keeps firing and firing. Has moved to 12 goals for the season already.

Anthony Martial (ST)

Martial would be a relieved man after netting his first league goal of the season. Leads the line in the absence of Cavani.
