Predicted Rangers XI to face Lech Poznan in the Europa League
Rangers romped home to a comfortable 2-0 victory over Livingston at Ibrox on Sunday, thanks to goals from Jermain Defoe and Joe Aribo. That win saw Steven Gerrard’s side move six points clear of arch-rivals Celtic atop the Scottish Premiership standings.
The Gers are now set to turn their attention to the Europa League as they play host to Lech Poznan on Thursday night. Rangers started their European campaign on a positive note with a 2-0 win away at Standard Liege on Matchday 1 and they will be looking to continue their 7-game winning run in all competitions.
Rangers have won each of their last three games against Polish opposition in major European competitions, and they will be the outright favourites to come away with all three points from their Matchday 2 Group D fixture.
Team News
Steven Gerrard doesn’t have any major injury issues to contend with heading into the midweek European clash. Nikola Katic (cruciate ligament) remains sidelined with a long-term injury, but the manager is expected to have a fully fit squad at his disposal other than that.
