Predicted Tottenham XI to face Liverpool in the Premier League
The hectic winter schedule of the Premier League continues with yet another round of intriguing midweek fixtures as Tottenham play host to reigning champions Liverpool on Thursday night.
Jose Mourinho’s side go into the crunch encounter high on confidence after a 4-1 thrashing of Wycombe Wanderers in the 4th Round of the FA Cup. A victory here will be enough to see the North Londoners leapfrog Jurgen Klopp’s side in the league standings.
Going by the records, however, Liverpool will be the outright favourites to come away with all three points. Tottenham have lost their last five league games against the Reds but things could well change in favour of the home side this time around.
Team News
Mourinho has a few injury problems to contend with heading into the high-octane midweek clash against Liverpool. Giovanni Lo Celso (thigh) is ruled out while Matt Doherty, Ben Davies and Dele Alli are doubtful to play a part on Thursday.
