Predicted Leicester City XI to face Fulham in the Premier League
Leicester City moved up to 8th in the standings after a 2-0 win over Watford on Saturday and the Foxes will once again be the favourites to claim all three points when they make the trip to Craven Cottage to face a struggling Fulham unit.
Fulham suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Chelsea in the west London derby on Sunday after a positive start to life under Claudio Ranieri with a 3-2 triumph over Southampton.
Claudio Ranieri’s men currently sit in the relegation zone with only a couple of wins in the Premier League this season and they will be looking to get a positive result out of this game.
Team News
Daniel Amartey is ruled out with an ankle injury while Matty James is another long-term absentee for the Claude Puel. Jamie Vardy suffered a minor groin injury in the last game and his selection will be subject to a late fitness test.
Rachid Ghezzal and Harry Maguire (knee) are doubtful to make it to the matchday squad for the mid-week clash while James Maddison will be back in contention after serving a one-game suspension.
Formation:4-2-3-1
Manager: Claude Puel
Predicted XI
1. Kasper Schmeichel (GK)
The Danish veteran will be in high spirits after keeping a clean sheet in the last game and he has always been a reliable presence between the sticks this season.
2. Ricardo Pereira (RB)
The Portuguese international showed massive improvement in his defensive game against Watford and added impetus to the attack from the right.
3. Jonny Evans (CB)
He put in a solid shift at the back in the last game and is expected to continue in the absence of Harry Maguire.
4. Wes Morgan (CB)
He has been a bit rash and reckless at times this season but has otherwise been a solid presence at the back.
5. Ben Chilwell (LB)
The Englishman looked solid at the back and played some good passes in the attacking third against Watford.
6. Nampalys Mendy (CDM)
He put in an impressive shift in central midfield in the last game and kept the opposition at bay with his strength.
7. Wilfried Ndidi (CDM)
The Nigerian got himself into trouble with his inaccurate distribution against Watford and he will be expected to put in a better performance this time.
8. Marcus Albrighton (RW)
He set up Maddison with a delightful pass in the previous outing and Leicester will need him to do something similar against Fulham.
9. Demarai Gray (LW)
The youngster put up a good display against Watford and was unlucky to see his shot come back off the post.
10. James Maddison (CAM)
He has been one of the revelations of the season for Leicester and will be high on confidence after finding the net in the last game.
